The day began early and by 7.45 I was making a loaf of granary bread. I really want to make sourdough but only started making my starter today so I’ll have to wait until next week when it should be ready. The granary loaf turned out perfectly and is now beautifully sliced and in our freezer! I made mussels Goan style, roasted onions with marjoram butter and banana tart – all really good. Too busy to take photos. I completely forgot about my cheese over the weekend (too much partying!) so nipped down to the dairy to turn it after demo today. It’s looking good (middle right).
After we’d done our homework we went down to the beach for a walk. And a paddle. It wasn’t warm but it was fun!
There were some amazing bits of seaweed lying around.
