I was just making a loaf of bread (quicker than going to the supermarket to buy some) and thought it might be useful to let you know where to get fresh yeast. I buy mine – via mail order – from Richard Bertinet at The Bertinet Kitchen in Bath. It can be bought in a large block or as pre-packed smaller ones and can be frozen. You can also pay for a year and have a block sent every month! No excuses now!

Meta
I keep promising myself that I will buy fresh yeast to make our daily loaf. I must I must I must. I will, I promise.
You should, you should, you should! Nice to have you back.
